RUIZ PARDO – NEBREDA (RPN) is an architecture studio based in Madrid, founded in 2011 by Marcelo Ruiz Pardo and Sonia Nebreda, which designs and manages projects from their conception to completion.
Its work spans more than 20 countries —including Puerto Rico, Namibia, Paraguay, Zambia, El Salvador, Portugal, and Spain— and has been presented at the architecture biennials of Argentina, Quito, and El Salvador, as well as in exhibitions in Japan, Germany, Ecuador, the United States, and Brazil. RPN has also been featured in leading publications such as DOMUS, The Architectural Review, The Plan, Detail, and ARQA.
The studio has received several awards in international competitions in Spain, Italy, and Switzerland, and has delivered lectures at universities in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Spain, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, and the United Kingdom.
Among the awards received for its built work are the COAM Prize – Luis M. Mansilla, the Grand Prize of the Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of El Salvador (XIIBAUES 2016), the German Design Award, the International Architecture Award, Best Architects 21, Europe 40 Under 40, The Plan Award, American Architecture Prize, S.Arch International Award, among others.

RUIZ PARDO – NEBREDA (RPN) es un estudio de arquitectura con sede en Madrid, fundado en 2011 por Marcelo Ruiz Pardo y Sonia Nebreda, que diseña y gestiona proyectos desde su concepción hasta la obra terminada.
Su trabajo abarca más de 20 países —entre ellos Puerto Rico, Namibia, Paraguay, Zambia, El Salvador, Portugal y España— y ha sido presentado en las bienales de arquitectura de Argentina, Quito y El Salvador, así como en exposiciones en Japón, Alemania, Ecuador, Estados Unidos y Brasil. Director of Architecture
Marcelo holds a Master of Architecture and brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has led award‑winning projects worldwide, specializing in landmark buildings, corporate offices, hospitality, residential, and mixed‑use developments. Most recently, he managed a multi‑billion‑USD portfolio in Saudi Arabia.
He studied architecture at the Madrid School of Architecture (UPM) and at the University of Geneva (UNIGE), and holds a postgraduate degree in City and Environment as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Architectural Research from UPM.
Marcelo served as Associate Professor of Architectural Design at UPM for 11 years, contributing to research and innovative teaching, and has lectured at international academic forums..

Marcelo es arquitecto y cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia en el sector de la construcción. Ha dirigido proyectos galardonados en distintos países, especializado en edificios singulares, oficinas corporativas, hotelería, vivienda y desarrollos de uso mixto. Más recientemente, gestionó un portafolio de varios miles de millones de dólares en Arabia Saudí.
Estudió arquitectura en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (UPM) y en la Universidad de Ginebra (UNIGE), y posee un posgrado en Ciudad y Medio Ambiente y un Máster de Estudios Avanzados en Investigación en Arquitectura por la UPM.
Durante 11 años fue Profesor Asociado de Proyectos Arquitectónicos en la UPM, donde contribuyó a la investigación y a la innovación docente, y ha impartido conferencias en foros académicos internacionales.
SONIA NEBREDA

Technical Director
Sonia is a Technical Architect and Building Engineer with over 20 years of experience. She has led projects from concept to handover, consistently applying best practices throughout the entire process.
She studied Technical Architecture at the University of Burgos and Building Engineering at Universidad Nebrija, and holds a postgraduate degree in Project Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
Before co‑founding RPN, she spent eight years working as a Construction and Project Manager, gaining deep technical and operational expertise. She places strong emphasis on team organization and collaboration to ensure efficient, high‑quality project delivery.
