With experience in more than 20 countries, RUIZ PARDO – NEBREDA (RpN) approaches architecture through spatial clarity, constructive rigor, and a distinctive material character. From our Madrid-based studio, we develop singular architecture and work closely with each client, transforming ideas into built spaces with high technical definition and attention to detail.
Approach and practice
Founded in 2011 by Marcelo Ruiz Pardo and Sonia Nebreda, RpN integrates architecture and engineering to offer a comprehensive service: design, project management, and construction supervision, with continuous control and direct communication.
Architectural principles
We design architecture defined by spatial clarity, structural order, fluid transitions between exterior and interior, luminous spaces, and a tactile materiality. These principles shape a contemporary, sober, and timeless architecture.
Trajectory and scope
We develop exclusive homes, corporate architecture, and complex projects with full control over every phase. Our work—internationally recognized and published in specialized media—combines creativity, technical expertise, and rigorous management to deliver coherent, efficient, and high‑quality projects.

Desde nuestro estudio en Madrid acompañamos a cada cliente de manera directa, transformando ideas en espacios construidos con detalle y precisión técnica.
Enfoque y operativa
Fundado en 2011 por Marcelo Ruiz Pardo y Sonia Nebreda, RpN integra arquitectura e ingeniería para ofrecer un servicio completo: diseño, gestión de proyectos y dirección de obra, con control constante y comunicación directa.

MARCELO RUIZ PARDO

Co‑founder & Director of Architecture
Marcelo is a senior architect with a Master of Architecture and over 20 years of international experience in the construction and real estate development industry. He has led award‑winning projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, specializing in landmark buildings, corporate offices, hospitality, luxury residential, and mixed‑use developments. Most recently, he managed a multi‑billion‑USD portfolio at NEOM in Saudi Arabia.
He studied architecture at the Madrid School of Architecture (UPM) and the University of Geneva (UNIGE), and holds postgraduate degrees in City and Environment and Architectural Research from UPM. For 11 years, he served as an Associate Professor of Architectural Design at UPM, contributing to research, innovation, and international academic forums.

Cofundador y Director de Arquitectura
Marcelo es arquitecto senior con un Máster en Arquitectura y más de 20 años de experiencia internacional en la industria de la construcción y el desarrollo inmobiliario. Ha liderado proyectos premiados en Europa, Oriente Medio, África y Latinoamérica, especializado en edificios emblemáticos, oficinas corporativas, hoteles, vivienda de lujo y desarrollos de uso mixto. Recientemente gestionó un portafolio de varios miles de millones de dólares en NEOM (Arabia Saudí).
Estudió arquitectura en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (UPM) y en la Universidad de Ginebra (UNIGE), y posee posgrados en Ciudad y Medio Ambiente y en Investigación en Arquitectura por la UPM. Durante 11 años fue Profesor Asociado de Proyectos Arquitectónicos en la UPM, contribuyendo a la investigación, la innovación y foros académicos internacionales.
SONIA NEBREDA

Co‑founder & Technical Director
Sonia is a Technical Architect and Building Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. She has led projects from concept to handover, applying best practices in design, coordination, and execution to ensure efficient processes and high‑quality results.
She studied Technical Architecture at the University of Burgos and Building Engineering at Nebrija University, and holds a postgraduate degree in Project Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
Before co‑founding RpN, she spent eight years as a Construction and Project Manager, developing strong technical and operational expertise. Her work focuses on team organization, communication, and coordination to deliver reliable, well‑structured, and high‑performance projects.
