Port Gitana reúne un hotel-restaurante y un edificio municipal en un único volumen compacto. La concentración del programa permite liberar superficie para espacios públicos y ampliar las conexiones visuales entre el núcleo urbano y el lago.
Cada uso dispone de un acceso diferenciado y se relaciona con un ámbito exterior propio. Esta organización orienta el edificio en varias direcciones, atendiendo tanto al frente del lago como a las calles y plazas próximas.
La propuesta entiende la mezcla de programas como una oportunidad para activar el entorno. El alojamiento, la restauración y los servicios municipales comparten una misma pieza arquitectónica, mientras sus distintas relaciones con el exterior articulan una secuencia de espacios abiertos vinculados a la vida del lugar.
Port Gitana brings together a hotel-restaurant and a municipal building within a single compact volume. Concentrating the programme frees up land for public spaces and opens wider visual connections between the village and the lake.
Each use has a separate entrance and relates to its own outdoor area. This arrangement gives the building several orientations, addressing both the lakefront and the neighbouring streets and squares.
The proposal considers the combination of programmes as an opportunity to activate the surroundings. Accommodation, dining and municipal services share one architectural volume, while their distinct relationships with the exterior articulate a sequence of open spaces connected to local life. The building thus links its different functions to the public spaces around it.
