La sede regional de Puma Energy para América se sitúa en Bayamón, Puerto Rico, entre la vegetación tropical y una terminal de combustible. El edificio actúa como filtro entre ambos paisajes, vinculando el orden de la infraestructura industrial con las condiciones naturales del lugar.
Cuatro plataformas de estructura metálica definen espacios amplios y flexibles con un número reducido de apoyos. Su prolongación hacia el exterior genera terrazas que protegen del sol y permiten encuentros informales.
La continuidad entre oficinas y terrazas amplía las posibilidades de uso y establece una relación directa con el entorno. La organización abierta favorece la comunicación y el intercambio entre quienes trabajan en la sede.
Puma Energy’s regional headquarters for the Americas stands in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, between tropical vegetation and a fuel terminal. The building acts as a filter between these contrasting landscapes, bringing the order of industrial infrastructure into dialogue with the natural conditions of the site.
Four steel platforms define generous, flexible spaces with a minimum of vertical supports. Extending beyond the enclosed offices, they form broad terraces that provide shade and accommodate informal gatherings.
The continuity between offices and terraces offers varied opportunities for occupation and establishes a direct relationship with the surrounding landscape. The open arrangement encourages communication and exchange among the people who work together within the building.
