RUIZ PARDO - NEBREDA

Villa Falésia se adapta a una parcela de la costa portuguesa con doce metros de desnivel y vistas al Atlántico. Desde el acceso superior, la vivienda se despliega en volúmenes aterrazados que acompañan la pendiente, reducen su presencia en el paisaje y limitan los movimientos de tierra.

Una estructura mixta de madera y acero permite salvar grandes luces y abrir las estancias hacia el océano. Los voladizos prolongan los espacios interiores y generan terrazas protegidas.

La casa se organiza mediante una secuencia de ámbitos cubiertos y descubiertos que gradúan la relación con el exterior. La estructura define tanto la amplitud de las estancias como los umbrales entre vivienda y paisaje.

Villa Falésia adapts to a site on the Portuguese coast with a twelve-metre drop and views over the Atlantic. From the upper entrance, the house unfolds through terraced volumes that follow the slope, reduce its presence in the landscape and limit earthworks.

A combined timber and steel structure spans generous distances, opening the rooms towards the ocean and framing distant views. Cantilevers extend the interior spaces outwards and create sheltered terraces.

The house is organised through a sequence of covered and open spaces that mediate its relationship with the outdoors. The structure defines both the generosity of the rooms and the thresholds between the house and the surrounding coastal landscape.
